CMAT 2018 is the name of the management entrance exam to be held by AICTE in the on January 21, 2018. Through the exam, candidates will be selected for allotment in MBA PG program in participating business schools. Official notification and brochure of the exam has been released on October 11, 2017. Admissions will be made on the basis of merit that will be decided through score obtained in the entrance examination. Higher the score will mean stronger the chances of allotment.
CMAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Indian candidate, irrespective of his age, can apply for the exam. He must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized state or central institute. Those who are in the final year can apply as well provided that their final degree results are declared before the deadline set by AICTE.
CMAT 2018 Application Form
The form will be available to fill only in online mode from 1st week of November to 2nd week of December 2016. Only correct facts and figures should be put in the application form. Also, the scanned images of photo and signature must adhere to the specified dimensions, format, and resolution. The stages of application form process are – online registration, filling of the application form, uploading of scanned images, payment of application fee, and generation of printout of the form.
Only those candidates will be issued an admit card to appear in the exam, who complete the application form process successfully. Payment of application fee can be done through credit card, debit card, net banking, and SBI e-challan. The amount of fee is Rs.1400 for general category candidates and Rs.700 for reserved category candidates. Payment receipt of fee of CMAT Online Application Form must be printed if the payment is done online on the computer system.
