For more than 60 years now, XLRI, Jamshedpur is conducting Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI). XAT is conducted every year with a motive to select appropriate and eligible candidates for management education. The XAT test scores are considered by more than 100 Business schools for admissions into various management courses. XAT 2018 is to be conducted on January 7, 2018. The candidates who have Bachelor’s degree (minimum three years duration) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university from India/abroad are eligible to apply.

How to apply for XAT 2018

The candidates will have to get themselves registered online on the official website of XAT. Thereafter, they will be required to fill the XAT application by remitting the application fees online. There is no other mode of applying for XAT 2018 except applying online.

Application fees

The desirous applicants will be required to remit a non refundable application fees of Rs. 1000/- (applicable for all). The application fees can be paid via 3 modes, online payment gateway, cash payment and Demand Draft. Candidates paying via Cash or DD will also be required to send their confirmation page within 15 days of the printing of Pay-in-slip or from the issuance of the DD.

XAT Exam pattern

The entrance test will be of 3 hours duration. The mode of the examination will be Pen-Paper based. It will have four sections, Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation & General Knowledge. The marks of General Knowledge will not be used for determining the percentile and cut off at first stage of selection. However, it will be used later on by XLRI and other Associate Member Institutes at the time of final selection.

XAT Admit Card

All candidates who will be able to get themselves registered online successfully before the last date will be able to download their XAT 2018 Admit Card. The admit cards will be uploaded on the official website on December 20, 2017. The candidates must take their admit cards to their respective examination centre on the date of the examination for having entry.

XAT 2018 Score Card

The score card can be accessed in the last week of January 2018 by the candidates after logging into their respective accounts on the official website. The score cards will also be mailed individually on the registered email Id of the candidate.
