JEE Advanced or Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2016 will be conducted by seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). This exam will be conducted under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB). On the basis of performance shown by the candidate, the admission to several bachelor’s degree programs will be done in 18 IITs and Indian School of Mines and various other reputed engineering institutes.

JEE Advanced is the second stage of the JEE exam and only the top 1.5 lakh rank holders of JEE main exam will be allowed to appear in it. The JEE Advanced 2016 exam will be conducted on 22 May 2016. The online registration for this exam will start in the first week of May 2016 month. JEE Advanced Eligibility criteria:
There are five main eligibility criteria that should be fulfilled in order to appear in the exam.
1. On the basis of performance shown by the candidate in JEE Main 2016 exam.
2. Age limit as per the rules.
3. Number of attempts taken by the candidate.
4. Marks obtained in class 12th or any other equivalent exam.
5. Any earlier admission to IITs or ISM.

JEE Advanced Application Process:
The JEE Advanced application process will start tentatively in the first week of May 2016 on the official website of Joint Admission Board. The whole process includes the following three steps:
1. Filling the registration form
2. Uploading the scanned images of the certificates
3. Paying the registration Fee

Exam pattern for JEE Advanced 2016 exam:

There is no fixed pattern for JEE Advanced exam pattern as it keeps on changing every year. However, the candidate is required to appear in both the  papers, i.e., paper 1 and paper 2 which carry only MCQ type questions and are available in both English and Hindi language.

The admit card to appear in the JEE Advanced 2016 exam will be released in May 2016 on the official web portal of JAB.  The result for the same can also be checked on the same Official website after it is declared, in the last week of June 2016 month. Candidates who wish to take admission into architecture programs in IITs should register online for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2016 which will begin in the second third week of June 2016. The seat allocation procedure will start in the first week of July 2016 which will be held in 4 rounds.
