JEE Advanced 2016 will be conducted for the applicants those who qualify in the first tier and succeed to make their place in top 1.5 lakh scorers. It is a exam which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for the admission if applicants in various engineering courses. The exam is expected to be conducted in last week of May 2016. But to apply in JEE Advanced 2016 applicants must have scored 20 percentile in JEE Main 2016 exam and should be in top 1.5 lakh applicants.

JEE Advanced 2016 Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants for JEE Advanced 2016 Exam must fulfill all the eligibility criteria to be eligible for the exam. Failing to satisfy even a single condition will make them ineligible for the exam.

Applicants must first qualify the JEE Main exam.

It is also required to be in top 1.5 lakh scorers in JEE Main. Applicants those who are in top 1.5 lakh scorers and got atleast 20 percentile in qualifying exam.

General and OBC applicants must have born on or after 1 October 1990.

For SC and ST applicants the above date is 1 October 1985.

Applicants will be given on two consecutive attempts.

Applicants those who appeared in qualifying exam in 2014 or earlier than that are not eligible for the exam.

If a applicant has already been selected in IIT or ISM previously will also be ineligible for the exam irrespective of the fact that they continued it or not.

Admission will be provided on the basis of applicant’s all India rank and top 20 percentile in qualifying exam.

If in case CBSE does not provide the list for top 20 percentile applicants, then applicants will be required to produce the certificate for the same.

If applicant also fails to provide certificate then CBSE percentile will be considered.
JEE Advanced 2016 Application Form:
Applicants must fill the application form in order to appear in JEE Advanced 2016 Exam. Application form will be available online and can only be filled by the applicants those who satisfy the eligibility conditions.
Steps to fill Application Form:
To successfully fill and submit the application form applicants can follow the steps mentioned below:
STEP-1:
- Fill application form with all the correct details.
- Select the exam centre for JEE Advanced 2016 .
- Now select the language preferred for writing the exam.
STEP-2:
- Upload all the required certificates in support of information provided in application form.
- Certificates required to be uploaded are:
- Category certificate.
- Sub category certificate.
STEP-3:
- Last step for filling the application form is making fee payment.
- Registration fee for general category male applicants is 2000/-.
- Fees for male applicants of SC, ST and PwD is 1000/-.
- Female applicants do not have to pay any fees.
- Those who want to give exam in Dubai will have to pay 220 US$.
- Fees can be paid via online mode using Debit/Credit or offline in any SBI branch.
JEE Advanced 2015 Admit Card:
Applicants for JEE Advanced 2015 Exam must have their admit card otherwise they will not be able to enter the exam hall. Without the admit card, they will not be able to appear in the exam. Carrying multiple copies of admit card is considered good as in case of losing one copy, another copy can be used.
Downloading Procedure:
Admit card will only be available on the website of JEE from where it can be downloaded by following certain steps:
- Visit the website of JEE.
- Click the link for downloading the admit card.
- Enter the captcha code.
- The admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the admit card and take print out as well.
JEE Advanced 2016 Exam Pattern:
- 2 sets of question paper will be there.
- Duration for each of the exam will be 3 hours or 180 minutes.
- The paper will be available both in English and Hindi language.
- Question will be asked form three subjects: Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
- Exam will be multiple choice based.
- Negative marking will be done in some sections, i.e., in some of the sections if a applicant marks the wrong answer, his/her marks will be deducted as per the rules.
